Here is a list of 7 Summer Essentials that you should invest in this summer season. These essentials will up your style game and help you feel more confident. Classic pieces combined with some trendy items is style magic. Whatever your personal style is these pieces will fit into your wardrobe seamlessly. There are also a couple of beauty items that are like the icing on the cake.
1. The Fedora hat
I picked my Fedora hat up at Walmart this year at the beginning of the season. I find that it goes with just about any outfit. The benefit of hats like this is that they instantly boost your style, whatever that may be. Of course, the other benefit is that you are protecting your face and scalp from sun damage at the same time. It’s a win-win sort of situation. Hats are a classic piece that are always on trend.

2. The woven straw bag
Woven straw bags are almost always on trend during the summer season. There are many options to choose from and I always think Target has the widest variety of options at good prices. I will link the one I have here below the picture for you. It’s a great size to carry all of your daily essentials or to pack up some extras and head to the beach.

3. The oversized black sunnies
Oversized black sunglasses make a statement. They instantly make any outfit look more chic. They add an air of mystery and intrigue, and they are essential to a summer wardrobe. Adding a good pair of sunglasses to your arsenal is like putting on your jewelry—you might be dressed without it, but with it your look is complete. Amazon has many affordable options and I also have found several decent pairs at TJ Max. You can of course shop for a good high-end pair if you have the budget for that.

4. Puff or Braided Sandals
Braided sandals have really been on trend over the last couple of years. They come in a variety of colors, with and without heels. I find them really comfortable (and I own several pairs from several retailers) due to the soft material that the braiding is made out of. Both Target and Walmart have great options and good prices. I will link the ones I own and love from Walmart below the picture.

5. The SPF Face Mist Sunscreen
SPF, and sun protection in general, is an absolute essential during summer. It can be hard to reapply though once you have a full face of makeup on. Enter the genius notion of the SPF misting spray for the face. I love this one by Coola. It’s an easy way to spritz on more sunscreen after a couple of hours and stay protected all day. Because the mist is fine and absorbs quickly it doesn’t mess up your makeup or leave residue on your skin. Stick one of these small bottles in your purse and refresh your SPF every couple of hours.

6. The SPF Lip Balm
The best kind of beauty item is one that serves more than one purpose. Having a good SPF lip balm that is protecting you from the sun, but also looks like makeup is a beautiful thing. I use the one from Sun Bum in the color Sunset Cove. Color Science also has some that look really nice.

You can never go wrong with wearing white in the summer. White just screams light, airy, beautiful, and new. There is something that looks so sophisticated and pulled together anytime your wear white. White linen is a classic that will never go out of style. White eyelet adds interest and has been beloved for generations. The classic white T-shirt has never lost its appeal. So go through your wardrobe and pull out those white items to put together some perfect summer looks.
