for my mature skin
When you try a lot of skin care products it really takes a remarkable one to stand out. For me to notice that something is a really good skin care product it has to check a lot of boxes. First, it must have good, effective, ingredients. Second, it must be at a price that would allow me to repurchase it regularly. Third, it must make a noticeable difference in my skin. That’s a tall order I know. The products I’m going to recommend in this blog meet these requirements. Let’s take a look at the anti aging skin care products I am loving right now.
DRMTLGY Hydration Booster 10X
I get a lot of messages on my phone from a lot of stores and for the most part I just ignore them. I’m too lazy to go in and unsubscribe to each of them so instead, I just delete them from my phone every few days. Every once in a while though I get caught by one of these little texts.
Right now I’m dealing with really dry skin so when I received a text message from DRMTLGY about their Hydration Booster 10X it grabbed my attention. I went over to their website and read the ingredient list and within seconds of that I was ordering this product for myself.
This has Hyaluronic Acid, Soybean Extract, Green Tea Extract, and Aloe. A powerful plumping combination. It’s a very watery texture and what I love the most is how quickly this dries down and you no longer feel it on your face. It allows me to go on with the rest of my routine fairly quickly, and I’m all about that. This is currently $41 USD on their website for 1.8 fl oz. So not inexpensive, but reasonable for a good quality product. If you are looking for a good hydrator this makes an excellent step in your routine.
Good Molecules Discoloration Correcting Body Treatment
I found this at Ulta by accident about a month ago. The name intrigued me because I am working on reversing the sun damage I did to my body in my teen years and into my twenties. I have freckles, sun spots, and general blotchiness all over my chest and arms.
This product boasts a stellar ingredient list with ingredients such as Tranexamic Acid, Aspergillus and Saccharomyces ferments, Niacinamide, arginine, and jojoba seed oil, as well as Salicylic Acid. Talk about a powerhouse product! The best part of all of this is that this product retails for only $15USD.
I have been using this product since I bought it, once a day, at night. You are able to use it twice a day and I’m sure that would lead to faster results, but I just don’t have time in the morning to fit it in. However, I do think I have noticed some lightening of my blotchiness. There are some pretty impressive before and after pictures on their website so I am hopeful.

Laneige Cica Sleeping Mask
The Laneige Sleeping Masks are amazing. There is no other word for it. I LOVE these products. I have probably said this many times before but I really just love Laneige. For someone with dry, crepey, mature skin, the Laneige products are exactly what is needed.
I had been using the Laneige Water Bank Sleeping Mask but when I ran out of that one I decided to try the Cica Sleeping Mask. It’s made with Forest Yeast extract and is supposed to be great for stressed skin and your moisture barrier.
It delivers that amazing plumpness and hydration that I had expected after using the Water Bank Sleeping Mask. My skin always looks plump and glowing after I use this product at night. If you suffer from chronic dry skin as I do, this product will save your skin. It is $34 for 2 fluid ounces of product. It goes a long way and is worth every penny.
Laneige Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturizer
I could literally type the paragraph above (almost) for this product as well. This moisturizing cream is just beautiful! It smells good, it feels good, it leaves my skin looking good. There is not a thing about this product I don’t love. It’s made with Blue Hyaluronic Acid, Squalane, and Ceramides.
I will often layer this with the Cica Sleeping Mask above. I will put this on my face first and allow it to absorb for a few minutes and then I will layer the Cica Sleeping mask over it. Anytime my face is feeling especially dry or irritated this is what I do. It ends up being a couple, to a few, days per week.
If someone were to ask me what the one product in my routine is that I think makes the most visible difference in my skin, it would be this moisturizer. It retails for $40 USD for 1.6 fl oz. This is a repeat purchase for me.
Timeless Hydrating Eye Cream
This is hands down my favorite eye cream right now. I have a lot going on around my area. I was genetically gifted with large under-eye bags. My father has them so I know exactly what they are going to look like in another twenty years.
I had an MRI done when I was in my early twenties because my eye doctor wanted to make sure there wasn’t something behind my eye pushing it forward and causing the bag, that at the time was only on the left side of my face. Thankfully there was not. She informed me it was just a fat pad and that it would probably get worse as I aged. She was right.
That whole story was just to say that I’m really picky about my eye creams and whether I think they are worth the money. The thing about this one is that I know it’s not going to fix my under eyes, but it’s filled with good ingredients at a decent price. I enjoy using it and I feel like my under eye area looks better throughout the day when I do.
This little eye cream contains Hyaluronic Acid, Matrixyl 3000, Algae Extract, Soy Rice Peptides, and watermelon. It is $22.95 for .5fl oz.
