1. Keihls Ultra Face Cream with Squalane
This is my favorite facial cream purchase of 2022. It was completely unexpected since I’m not necessarily drawn to Keihl’s Brand. I love pretty products and pretty packaging. However, when something works as good as this you can’t not love it. I happened upon this by accident when my youngest daughter was spending the night at my house. She had it in her bag and I asked her if I could use it out of curiosity.
It’s not a fancy cream, it doesn’t have a scent or a pretty bottle. What it does have is a stellar list of ingredients including Glycerin, squalane, apricot kernel oil, avocado oil, rice bran oil, olive fruit oil, salicylic acid, and more.
Even though that is a fabulous ingredient dec, my favorite thing about this product is the formulation. It spreads light and easily, and within moments of putting it on my face, it has sunk into my skin. No greasy feeling or look, no stickiness, no waiting ten minutes for it to dry so I can apply my sunblock. I put it on, it sinks in, and on with my routine I go. I use it morning and night. Can you tell I love it?
2. Timeless Skin Care’s serums

Timeless Skin Care is a great brand to invest in. These products are made in the USA and are cruelty-free and also free of parabens, sulfates, and fragrances. I have used their products for some time. They are effective and affordable. Here are the ones I recommend:
- Matrixyl 3000 or Matrixyl Synthe 6: Both of these serums contain the powerful peptide Matryxil in them. They work to stimulate collagen production for younger-looking skin. They are both hydrating and feel great upon application. I prefer the Matrixyl Synthe 6 serum myself but both of these are great formulas.
- Vitamin B5 Serum: For anyone who needs a little hydration in their life, I highly recommend this serum. It is my favorite serum to use when I need extra hydration in my skin or I’m having some kind of flare up with my acne or redness. This serum helps to calm everything down and soothe your skin. It also has Hyaluronic acid which makes it super hydrating.
- 20% Vitamin C+E Ferulic Acid Serum: This is the product that Timeless is most well-known and loved for. Their Vitamin C serum is formulated at the correct PH to be able to penetrate your skin and do its good work. The formula is a watery consistency that absorbs quickly. It has a slight tackiness after drying but not nearly as much as most Vitamin C products. I have not had a problem layering my skincare and then makeup over this one.
3. Laneige
I have not used a product from Laneige that I do not like. That being said I do have my favorites. Here are best beauty products to gift from Laneige in my opinion:
- Lip Sleeping Mask: This is the one product that I repeatedly gift to my daughters (and myself). It’s hands down the best lip mask I have found. It contains great ingredients like Shea Butter, Vitamin C, Coconut Oil, and more. This leaves my lips plump and hydrated in the morning. They always come out with holiday sets of these that combine different fun scents and colors.
- Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturizer: This cream has Blue Hyaluronic Acid, Squalane, Ceramides, and more. It’s a beautiful formulation with a scent that I adore. This is a stellar moisturizer that always leaves my skin looking plump and healthy, and feels like a treat.
- Laneige Cream Skin: This is an essence that leaves your skin feeling like you just moisturized it. It is perfect to use right after you have cleansed and before applying your serums. I have loved this for a long time and have not found an essence I love more. It’s made with white tea leaf extract which provides antioxidants to your skin. If you have a beauty lover in your life this is a great product to gift.

You really can’t go wrong with any holiday beauty set that includes any of the above products. Laneige products always make me feel like I’m at a spa treating myself.

1. For the eyes
- Too Faced Natural Eyes palette: This is a long-standing favorite. Even though it’s an older palette I have not found anything to beat the perfect neutral shades. It has a few mats and a few shimmers all in neutral browns.
- Urban Decay Naked Reloaded: This is a power palette. It’s a beautiful formula and the colors in this palette are neutral but stunning. This is the palette to use when you want your eyes to make a statement, and it’s a gift that any girl of any age would love.
- Tartelette Tubing Mascara: if you know someone who loves bold, dramatic, long lashes, gift them this mascara. They will thank you.
2. For the Lips
- Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color in Sazan Nude: The perfect nude with a hint of pink.
- Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb: You cannot go wrong with these lip glosses. They come in creams, lip luminizers, and lip plumpers. I have several shades, my daughter has some, and they are all just beautiful. Young or old they will love these glosses.
3. For the cheeks
- Rare Beauty Liquid Blush in the shade Encourage: This blush gives a beautiful, natural glow that is perfect for women who don’t want to look like they are wearing a lot of makeup.
- Rare Beauty Cream Bush in Nearly Neutral: My current favorite blush. Just enough pigment to give a healthy glow. Also, it looks natural and beautiful on the skin.
4. For the face
- It Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation SPF 50: This foundation looks pretty flawless on the face without being heavy. It covers redness fairly well and additionally it contains SPF to give you added protection from the sun.
- Estee Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue SPF 45: This foundation is great for someone with mature dry skin. It’s hydrating and looks very skin-like. It also contains SPF 45.
Both of these foundations are great, especially if you are buying for someone with more mature skin. Both of these look lovely on my 46 year old, very dry skin.
These are my top recommendations for the best beauty products to gift in 2022. With so many choices out there I hope that this will help give you some direction as you are doing your holiday shopping. Any of these will make excellent presents for the beauty lovers in your life.
