CURRENT LOVES!
You might say I went a little crazy last week. I did both a Sephora haul as well as an Ulta haul. In my defense, it started out innocent enough. I was on the hunt for one of the new bronzer/blush combos that are out. I certainly didn’t need any more makeup, but some of the new makeup out (specifically blushes) were just soooo pretty. What’s a girl to do? Here are my current new makeup summer 2023 loves.

New Makeup Summer 2023
1. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in Pink Lemonade
Yes, please. First, I love Laneige’s Lip Sleeping Masks. I own them in multiple scents and this is a staple in my skincare routine. I use them every single night before bed, and sometimes during the day as well. When I saw this Pink Lemonade scent for summer, I immediately added it to my cart.
These lip masks are full of good-for-your-lips ingredients including Shea Butter, Murumuru Butter, Vitamin C and Coconut Oil. If you want to wake up with plump full lips and stave off lip lines then this is your product, and don’t worry, if you don’t like pink lemonade they have many scents to choose from.
One other note on these lip masks. Although they are scented, it’s very mild. Like a barely-there scent, so if you are sensitive to fragrance you may still really like these.
2. Makeup Revolution’s Blush Bomb Cream Blusher
This little $9 cream blush is a powerhouse. So pigmented that you need the smallest dot to spread it across your cheek. Although you do have to be careful how much you apply, if you can get it right you can count on the color lasting all day long.
This is a great little blush for someone on a budget. It will last for a very long time considering how little you need to apply.
3. Iconic London Kissed by the Sun Multi-Use Blush & Bronzer
This was the beauty that first caught my eye. So pretty that I could not decide which color I wanted it in. I love the idea that it’s two products in one. This is going to be beautiful for creating that sun-kissed summer glow-from-within look. This is also shown in the photo collage below in the closed package.
4. Milani Gilded Eye Shadow Stick
I have mixed feelings on these Gilded Eye Shadow Sticks from Milani. The formula is absolutely fabulous. So soft and creamy that they apply easier than any other eyeshadow stick I’ve tried. They dry down and stay on all day long.
On the other hand, the packaging is not great. The stick falls out of the eye shadow stick container when you turn it upside down. I have dropped them on the floor and on my vanity several times when trying to use them. In addition to that, there is very little product in the tube. So although they are only $10.99 in the US, you don’t get much product for your money.

5. Bare Minerals Gen Nude Blonzer
Another beautiful blush bronzer combination. This product is lovely. It has a great pigment payoff and is silky smooth. The colors lean more toward blush than bronzer, versus the Iconic London Kissed By The Sun which leans more toward bronzer than blush.
6. Tarte Shape Tape Radiant Concealer
I’m unable to use the original Shape Tape Concealer because my undereye’s have a lot of loose/lax skin, fine lines, and wrinkles. It’s just too drying for me. However, this formula is beautiful. It really is radiant. The creamy texture doesn’t cake or cause my wrinkles to be accentuated. I’m a big fan.
7. Makeup By Mario Soft Pop Plumping Blush Veil
This blush gives a sheer natural flush that I have been loving for my everyday look. This is the perfect blush for someone who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup and just wants a very natural-looking flush. Because it’s a cream blush and easy to blend out it’s perfect for those of us with mature skin.
New makeup summer 2023
Over all this was a successful haul. I love these blushes and they are perfect for summer, especially the Iconic London Kissed By The Sun and the Bare Minerals Blonzer.

Bonus– I also picked up the Urban Decay Hydromaniac Tinted Glow Hydrator and I have been loving it. It’s lightweight and natural looking while still providing enough coverage, and best of all is that it’s not dry and cakey on my mature skin.
